5-16-2010 Well Pat, Our Shelly passed her Delta Theerapy Dog exam today in Indianapolis. She copped an attitude for a bit because she just refused to lay down, but eventually with my pleading voice, she laid down. She does that all the time on command, she just didn't want to today. The evaluator knew Mike and I because we had tested with her before with three of our shepherds. She gave me some helpful suggestions that I will follow up on. But none the less she PASSED! I have to get the paperwork together and send it in.

Hi Pat, Just wanted you to know that Shelly had her check up today and is doing well and is healthy. She continues to do well at the office and we have advanced from beginner to advanced agility. She is such a joy and people of all ages at the office are excited to greet her and say good-by to her when they leave. She comforts people by laying on their feet and sits and maintains good eye contact when they talk about their issues and emotions in their sessions. She loves to jump in bed at night and snuggle with Mike and then looks at me as to say, I was here first, you can find another bed. I gently remind her that she has a bed, on the her large pillow (given to us by Buddy) on the floor. Mike also made her a nice bed to lay on when we are in the screen room. We are so excited for our standard boy!!! Any idea when your next litter will come? I think about it daily. My vet today remarked on how well behaved she is and wished all of her patients were that calm. This summer we will go to Indy to see if she can pass her Delta Certification. I hope so. She gets so excited to greet people and play with other dogs.....I so hope she will listen. We practice daily. I'll let you know. Hope all is well with you. Again, Shelly is the best and very well loved.
Theresa and Mike

Hi...just wanted to share my good news with you. Ellie was in her first agility trial this past weekend and she did so well that she earned her first agility title! Ellie thinks agility is a blast! Carol

Hi Pat, I hope my email finds you well! It was just Callie's 1st birthday and she is doing so well. I just wanted to share with you this massive collage I made of her first year. She is a very loved animal, and brings so much joy to those around her. She has pretty much the whole city of San Francisco under her spell! Do you ever hear of her sisters and brother? I would love to hear how they are. All the Best, Jessica

Hi Pat. I hope you had a good holiday! Here are some photos of J.P. Morgan. He is quite a character too! We would love to talk to you about a chocolate small standard male for the Spring. Maybe we can chat later this week. Look forward to it! xox, Dava

Hi Pat, I can't believe so much time has flown by since we brought Ellie home last Christmas! She will be 1 year old on Monday. She is just a joy...so sweet-natured, intelligent and lovable! People come up to us all the time to comment on her beautiful red color.

Luke and Ellie are best buddies. When they're playing in the back yard she just loves to tease him by bowing down, pawing at the ground like a little bull and swishing her tail, until Luke suddenly tears off after her. She darts around some trees and then turns and jumps on him to chew on his ears!

Luke is doing so well in agility! He has his UACH (United Agility Champion) title in UKC, and also holds titles in CPE and NADAC agility venues. Here are some cool photos of him doing agility (doesn't he look like he's smiling in some of them?):

I've just started training Ellie in agility. She loves it. I think she's going to be as good as or even better than Luke!
I hope all is well with you, your family and your labradoodles. Several people have asked me about where I've gotten Luke and Ellie, and I always give them your website. Best regards, Carol Greer

Hi Pat, Well, Hercules (Hercky) just turned 1 yesterday Monday, Nov. 2. He is the perfect dog for our family. He is so loving with all the kids, rotating each night, with whom he wants to sleep with. Always a happy puppy and just loves to cuddle with all 4 paws up, sleeping in our arms. My wife wants another puppy for her birthday in March, so we might just be seeing you again. There is no other breed of dog we would ever purchase. The Virzi's

Hi Pat, Just wanted to share a picture of Lambie as she will be 1 tomorrow! She is a darling and so much fun. The boys are totally in love with her. She still needs some work on not jumping on people as she simply loves everyone.
She is my constant companion when I'm home, always at my side. My older dog Q continues do OK at 15! They are buddies and I know Lambie will miss him when he goes on to doggy heaven! How are things? We hoped to get out to Indiana over Thanksgiving but not sure if hubby can get off work or not. I'll let you know. Sandy

Dear Pat, Just a quick note to thank you for our puppy "lover Boy" aka "Ozzy". We got him back in July. He is fantastic. He has a great disposition & the kids love him. Attached are a couple of pics. He is about 38 pounds now and 4.5 months old. We are so happy with him, his coat is soft and shiny & we all are having so much fun with him. Tanya

Hi Pat, I hope all is well with you. Houdini and Aussie are going great, we are so lucky to have them. I have attached a picture that will show you how big Aussie is, he just turned 5 months old as you know and he is tipping the scales at 41 lbs. Houdini likes to sneak and eat puppy food when he gets a chance and loves his morning yogurt with his vitamin so he has actually put on a few pounds but by no means is he getting fat. Breann’s dance teacher wants a Doodle so bad; she fell in love with the boys!!!! She told me she talked to you. I was so excited!!!!!! Thanks! Diane

Hi, Pat. It has been a while since we sent you an update on our puppy, Aslan. I've attached a few recent pictures as well (all the dates say June, but the last few pictures were this past weekend). Aslan is doing terrific and we are all having a fabulous time with him! We took him to the vet this weekend for his next round of vaccines and he is a healthy 25 lbs - up 15 pounds from where we picked him up two months ago! He has been adapting well to our home and is a clever, if mischevious, puppy. He is fully house trained - even sitting by the door and barking when he wants to be let out. He's gone to 6 sessions of puppy obedience training and will do basic commands (sit, stay, down, come) - if appropriately incented with treats! The house had an invisible fence before we moved in and we have had him trained with that - he never tests the boundaries, keeping well clear, and has the run of several acres of space when we are outside with him. We also built him a doghouse in a large (40 ft x 40 ft) dog run so he can hang outside when we need to leave him for a few hours. The front of the doghouse is in some of the pictures - the kids had a great time with the building and painting project. Between the crate and the dog run, he willingly enters and waits for us... We hope you are well - we will send another update in a few weeks! Thanks! Tom

Hi Pat, Ellie is doing great and she's really doing well with housebreaking. We built a little ramp for her to get from the deck down to the yard, and she trots down and up it like a pro when we let her out to go potty. Luke always accompanies her....he's taken on the role of her protector! She and Luke like to play a game...he holds a squeak toy in his mouth and she jumps up and tries to get it....he backs away and then moves forward, careful not to step on her. They have a blast! She's a wonderful puppy....so smart, such a snuggler...but she's a little devil, too! She loves to bite Luke's tail. Thank you again for this wonderful addition to our family! Carol

Hercules slept through the night and hasn't gone to the bathroom inside the house yet. He snuggles with anyone who wants to. We all Love him sooo much. We couldn't have wished for a better puppy. We will send more pics after Christmas. Thanks again,
Joe, Judy, Emily, Joely and Terrelyn

Just wanted to share my good news that Luke earned his UKC AG I (agility) title this past weekend! I'm so proud of my pup! He'll be going after his UKC AG II title the weekend of Dec. 27 & 28, in Warrenville. Anyone who wants to come and cheer us on is welcome!
Happy Holidays,
Carol (and Luke)

Hi Pat, I wanted to let you know I am looking into information on how I can have Cha Chi trained as a service/therapy dog. I think it would be great for Nick and I to be able to take him to different schools or nursing homes for social visits. I know Nick would love to take Cha Chi to schools to visit younger children in special needs classrooms and even nursing homes ( I can see the old people already asking about his "blue" hair lol). I will let you know what information I come up with. Oh, you should have an area on your website that we "new" labradoodle owners can leave feedback and pictures.....you surely deserve it! Anyone visiting your website should know how great you are and how wonderful your puppies are too! Sorry to keep emailing you, but I am having a hard time because I am so happy Cha Chi is here! Thanks for your patience with me. Laura

Hi Pat, Just wanted to give you a brief update on Gucci St. John- she's doing fantastic! I can't give you enough compliments on this dog- she is so amazing it just blows my mind. If you need a testimonial or referral from a customer- you just let me know because I would be happy to give you a glowing one. Gucci just finished her 6 week puppy training class and we started our first class of dog obedience classes. The whole family is absolutely in love with her. I'll send a picture next time (I'm on my husbands laptop). I hope you and your family are doing well! Lisa St. John
P.S. I wish everybody could afford these dogs because there is no better family dog, which you obviously already know.

Hi Pat, Buddy is doing great and growing every day. His hair is shorter after his first grooming session. He behaved really well for the groomer. He has been to the vet twice so far for his rabies shot and then two weeks later for his lepto shot. He is a wonderful companion, and he is so much fun. I would be glad to give you a good reference for anyone interested in a puppy. Buddy has adjusted very well. He gets lots of exercise, eats well and tries hard to do the right thing. We love him!!!! We need to enroll him in an obedience class so he and I can both get trained. Thanks for all of your help, Sue

Pat- I just wanted to give you some pictures and an update. I bought a curly fleece boy that you all called Jake and we named him Chace. He is absolutely the best! He's huge. He's 27 inches tall and weighs about 80 lbs. He'a a pure joy. I attached some photos with his brother Lucas. One when when he was younger and one from last December when my mom was in the hospital and he sat for picture. He's even bigger now! In time, we will probably get another one. Until then, we are truly enjoying Chace and I don't know what I would do without him! Kindest regards, Angela Beddoe, Saratoga Springs.
